I've missed the memes I usually do this week, but there hasn't been time. I'll have to jump back in next week. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the Making Your Home a Haven Challenge. It's simple, but motivating.
1. Refresh Your Spirit (5 minutes)
I had my quiet time bright an early and there were several scriptures that caught my attention. I'll share one part from Hebrews 10 (NASB):
22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
Good stuff. I need to write some posts for Scripture Chick on this passage sometime.
2. Take Time to Plan (5 minutes)
3. Do Something! (15 minutes or so)
Before I knew what today's challenge was going to be, I had already jumped in and cleaned, streamlined and organized my bathroom closet, medicine cabinet, drawers, cabinet, and basket on the back of the toilet. I also began streamlining and organizing the drawers in my room. Tomorrow is the normal day for cleaning; today is deep cleaning.
I'll also tackle the laundry and laundry room from yesterdays task tomorrow (hopefully). It turns out, the button on the outlet for the washing machine needed to be pushed back in. I'm thankful it wasn't something big.
