What a wonderful movie! My family and I just finished watching it and I'd love to add it to our collection (we got it from Netflix). I had to fight tears here and there (and I wasn't the only one). Check it out if you haven't seen it yet. It's great for the whole family and touches your heart. You walk away from it feeling renewed and ready to dive back into life again.
Now for a funny: After the movie, I went outside looking for my honey. I called out (much to my daughters' embarrassment): Is there a sexy man out here?
I did a quick scan and didn't see anyone including my man, so I called out a little louder. "Hey, sexy man."
Nadda. I walked out on the sidewalk and looked down the side of the house, no one, but I heard voices. Male voices. Hmmm. A quick glance confirmed two men, two houses over. OOOPS.
I walked to the other side and didn't see my sexy man there either. Then I looked closer at the two men chatting. Oh, hey, there he is lol. My sexy man talking with our neighbor. From where I was, he didn't appear to be blushing, so it's safe to assume neither of them heard me yelling about a sexy man.
Darn. Cause that would have been hysterically funny to see my sexy man blushing like a tomato.
Day 3: I am thankful for the Holy Spirit who guides, comforts, teaches and gifts us. He gives us the gifts of the Spirit to enable us to do God's work and shows us the fruits of the Spirit either lacking or exhibited in our lives. I think of it as a measuring stick to see how well I'm allowing Him to lead. Lately, I've been taking the reins which is brilliantly STUPID. Yet, my flesh desires to rule. Ick. Isn't it great that we have a helper (the Holy Spirit in case I lost you)? Cause I know I need one. Every. Day.
