My last post was 10 days ago. Phew. Seems longer than that lol. I've been charting my temperatures for months now and this month I watched as my temps stayed high and no monthly visits occurred. I knew what was up, but preferred to remain in denial a little longer. Finally, I couldn't resist the pregnancy test I had sitting in my bathroom closet. Let me tell ya - I didn't even get a chance to put the stick on the counter before that pregnancy line popped right up. It was a nice, dark line, too. Seemed like ages before the second line revealing the test worked even showed.
I'm expecting baby number 6. WOW! Number 6. Six children. Right now, I'm in the throes of morning sickness which must get that term not because it's a morning thing, but because it begins in the morning and goes ALL DAY LONG! It's so hard to enjoy pregnancy when every smell, every image of food, even the ones in your head, make you gag. Last pregnancy, I got so bad, my poor hubby had to hold me over the toilet because I was too weak. I'm praying God spares me from that extreme again.
I'm doing my best to work around it and if it just gets too bad, I lay down. I'm eating small amounts at a time throughout the day. I've got anti-neasea meds. coming, but they knock me out so I'll keep them for the worse days.
I look forward to when I can begin sharing the good points of expecting number 6. I do, however, have to say, I'm thinking it might be a girl. And to confirm that thinking, both of my older two daughters dreamed I had a baby girl BEFORE we told them I was pregnant. Hmmmm...
Bob thinks it's a boy and we'll have our 'Brady Bunch' with three girls and three boys. Time will tell.
Quick funny: The doc asked me how pregnant I thought I was. I smirked and just couldn't resist saying, "Well, gee, I think you're either pregnant or you're not!" hehehehe I told him how far along I was based on my ovulation date. He asked for my first day of last period. We both had a due date within two days of each other. Right on. I say February 17th and the doc says February 15th. I'll stick with mine.
